Specialist Review
Our team will review the patient’s medical condition, consult with the relevant specialists, and determine the most appropriate treatment and medical transfer plan.
Transfer Preparation
Once the case is accepted, we coordinate bed availability, transportation arrangements, admission planning, and other necessary logistics to ensure a safe and seamless transfer to Sunway Medical Centre.
Hospital Admission
Upon arrival, the patient is received by our Emergency Department team for triage and admission, where treatment continues under the care of our specialists.
Our Critical Care Units
Our specialised critical care units are equipped to care for patients requiring intensive monitoring, advanced treatment, and multidisciplinary support.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Designed for critically ill patients who require continuous monitoring, advanced life support, and intensive medical care.
Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Dedicated intensive care for critically ill infants, newborns, and children, supported by specialised paediatric and neonatal teams.
High Dependency Unit (HDU)
For patients who require close observation and specialised nursing care but do not require full intensive care support.
